One of the highlights of our visit was the Pulau Sapi Island.
Pulau Sapi (Cow island) is located off the coast of Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia on the northern tip on the island of Borneo.
The most beautiful islands around here and is smaller than Pulau Manukan but the crowd here is lesser compared to the neighbouring islands. If you are planning on visiting any of these islands while in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. I would easily recommend Pulau Sapi.

Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal

The front entrance of Jesselton Point Jetty. If you're going to the islands or Labuan, this is where you can get your boat rides.

When we arrived at the island we paid an environmental conservation fee for RM3 for Malaysians and RM10 for non-malaysians.

A short boat ride to the beach, We had picked out Pulau Sapi because I heard it was a good island for snorkeling/diving, but also because many peoples who lived in Kota Kinabalu had suggested it.

The general snorkeling at Sapi Island, and the waters are really clear and there are lots of coral fishes.

1:00 PM

After snorkeling a few times and enjoying the sun for a few hours, we headed back to the mainland around 2pm. If you are a diver or snorkeler, I would suggest Borneo because there are so many islands to swim in clear water with lots of marine life.
